Today Kit Harington Online turns a whole 6 years old and still remains the original fansite source for Kit and his career. Thankyou to everyone who messages and emails me words of thanks and support, along with it being so easy to run a site for someone so lovely, you guys don’t know how much it means getting them to push on and make it an even better resource. In the next month or so I am going to do the sites first birthday project due to Kit turning the big 3-0. Details for that are still undecided but will be posted in due course. The video archive is slowly taking shape as is the press library and I’m hoping they will be online shortly. Lots of love, – H
The images taken for Kits interview with The Wrap are now in the gallery along with the text which can be found using the link under some of the excerpt. Scans from it will also be uploaded when they become available. I know I say this more often than I have hot meals but such a gorgeous shoot and a video from it can be viewed here on the website. Credit and thanks to The Wrap for the pictures
WANTED, DEAD OR ALIVE
He came back from the dead in Episode 2 and he beat the sadistic baddie Ramsay Bolton to a pulp with his fists in Episode 9. Those two moments alone made HBO’s Game of Thrones hero Jon Snow the man who set pop culture ablaze this television season. But Snow and the man who plays him, Kit Harington, also had an entire season to remember on Game of Thrones—a series that leads all shows in Emmy nominations this year, and is the defending champ in the marquee Outstanding Drama Series category.
“With Thrones, you always get two or three scenes each season that you know are very important,” the 29-year-old British actor told TheWrap of the recently-concluded Season 6. “I found that this was one of my most powerful seasons on paper, and I wanted to do it justice.”
He did, and in the process Jon Snow became one of the few men who came out of the season with more power than he had going in. (Mostly, this was a season for the women on Game of Thrones.) Harington’s character had been stabbed to death at the end of the previous season, but sorceress Melisandre (Carice van Houten) brought him back from the dead, causing Snow to renounce his vow to the Night’s Watch and fight to win back his ancestral home, Winterfell, from the evil clutches of Bolton. It was the biggest, boldest season for TV’s biggest and boldest show—and unlike last year, when he was officially dead and sworn to secrecy, Harington was free to actually talk about it this time around.
Whilst Kit is filming I decided to finally get the photoshoots I’ve been collecting uploaded. Some are additions to previous albums but some are altogether new. I held out trying to find some in better quality hence why they’re just being uploaded.
More updates will be coming next week in the form of additional and missing Public Appearances.

A few hours ago HBO have confirmed whilst present at the TCA’s that season 8 of (lets face it everyones favourite show) will be its last. No word yet as to how many episodes it will contain but by the sounds of things it won’t have the usual 10 that we have all been used to, following suit of the announcement made for season 7.
New HBO programming president Casey Bloys met the press Saturday at the Television Critics Association’s summer press tour and the first question he fielded was about the future of the HBO fantasy drama. The executive also confirmed that yes, the plan is for the yet-to-be announced eighth season of the adaptation of George R.R. Martin’s fantasy drama to be its last.
HBO most recently renewed the drama for a shortened seventh season — consisting of seven episodes — and producers have noted that they envision a total of 75 episodes of the series as a whole. Through season six, the show has produced 60 episodes. Bloys reiterated that an episode count for the eighth season — which is all but a formality — has yet to be determined but noted that conversations for a spinoff remain on the table.
“We’ve talked about it,” he said. “It’s not something I’m opposed to but it has to make sense creatively. I’m not sure the guys can wrap their heads around it when they are about to start production. We’re open to it; the guys aren’t opposed to it but there’s no concrete plans right now.”
Game of Thrones ranks as HBO’s most-watched — and longest-running — series. The recently concluded sixth season wrapped with an average of 25 million total viewers across multiple plays, DVR and non-linear viewing.
With the arrival of winter on the series, production will be delayed and the series, which typically bows in March or April, will not return until next summer.
A new commercial of Kit advertising the Infiniti Q60 has been released online. A promotional image of it has also been released and added to the gallery. What a lovely surprise seeing as though things are quiet at the moment. Click here to see the video and below to view the picture in full
